it's the time of the year again when people meet up before the year is done and dusted. 2007. a year, a whole year went by and so many things could have changed in a single individual's life.
through changing season our friendship stood by, held on hold cos of various excuses, it might have but i know, even if the world is coming to an end or as mediocre the problem might be, friends will still be there, cos that's how i feel genuinely.
making up for the lost time is easy, just searching our past, revisiting it reminds how we were once again, the pretense, wall, or whatever you may call is gone. new looks, we might have, dress sense might change, heck! even if we have different faces, the familiarity would remain.
so catching up was our main priority, and that's exactly what we did. =)
a new place to chill! miss clarity cafe! reasonable tab, fantastic food for a bistro and friendly service, is exactly the place we've been hunting for. oh and the interior design is so feminine too! gives me a sense of belonging. =)
in addition to all that great elements i've highlighted, one more to add, they DO NOT charge for water! =)) in fact,they provide a whole jug for every table! i mean, COME ON! *huge sigh of relief* there's FINALLY someone out there who understands the customer!
after listing all the positive factors, i do recommend people to check out the place. they even have a website, it's http://missclaritycafe.com/
they have a few outlets, so if your pockets are shallow, do check out there, you'll be surprised by their standards yourself. =)

It's not all movies and lunch and butterflies in the stomach anymore. It's the sharing, compromising, understanding, consistency and most of all, adoring of each other.
Not talking much at all and just enjoying the presence of each other is enough said at times. Monday was one such day. Although it was raining cats and dogs, we each armed ourselves with a book we enjoyed and gallivanted around town. When the weather clouded and thundered on, we socialized with our respective books. Enjoyable, it was. =)
Cold jokes were thrown at each other, conflicting perspective exchanged on trivial stuffs, little endearment actions, things like that makes our day. These are the times when im reminded again why i adore him. thai cruisine at shaw towers and then ice cream as dessert! =) it's homemade! Killiney's coffee after our stroll in the air conditioned places and while it was raining cats and dogs. Morton's chilling session after that. doesn't the buns look ridiculously fascinating? Curry chicken at home! nothing beats home cooked meals then again, we crave for a little something more. hmmm... which explains why we headed down to the homey place, visiting toliets, bathrooms (no i wasn't stark naked if you're wondering and brook doesn't do his business in his pants; juz to spell it out, WE'RE ACTING), bedrooms, living rooms, cos they have Swedish meals, MEATBALLS! =)) where else but IKEA? yumz! THERE!
Last week, it was one of the treasured memories of being in an institution. It was an event by the club i've joined, entrepreneur club and the event was wine appreciation.
It's in the club that I've met some wonderful people, people of whom I can clique with. Fun bunch of people and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. The time spent and money was worth everything because it's the company that matters the most and with good wine, what's not to like? There ain't many pictures to post considering that I didn't bring mine on the fateful day. So when there's more of it sent to me, i'll update on this entry.
Styles, fashion, fancy languages, does it all matter?
I’ve never been comfortable if I ever walked out of the house with a different pair of shoes that doesn’t go well with my dress of the day. I always look into the mirror before going out, swearing if I don’t and when I steal a look at the reflection of a boutique’s window and realized that it wasn’t 100% perfect, I would insist on
1) Either getting a new pair of shoes or 2) bring my butt back home IMMEDIATELY which meant by cabbing or driving.
It’s all cliché I know, but it’s me, it’s who I am, I’ve been like that all my life, and even if someone were to look and criticize how I dress, I would never feel awkward.
Why you may ask.
For a start, it’s the only one thing I take charge everyday.
it's been a weekly, almost daily thing that we meet up, obviously. no, it's not a chore, it's something domestic. ;)
eating is, as you can see, has always been our all time favorite hobby. nothing much to gloat about, we just like to hang out at the same places all the time, good food, good drink, good company with a little conversation here and there.
when the weekend hits and there's soccer, i accompany baby too, something i enjoyed since i was introduced to Liverpool anyway. =) this time we headed to Chijmes. I wouldn't say the food was fantastic plus it was pretty ex, so nope, i think we'll find somewhere closer to our budget the next time round. though baby has always been footing the bills, i do look at the price on the menu, and it's darn ex this time, feel the pinch for him too, though he never complains. maybe that's how he shows his affections to me too, wanting me to be happy and it doesn't really matter what it takes.
we've been to popeye recently, which was on my craving list for e longest period too! oh oh but not before we had our blk 85 bak chor mee!!! =))
and the cat there is FAT FAT FAT! haha such a lucky individual it is, staying there with all the delicious food arnd! oh and we've tried werner's like a couple of weeks back. yes people, i hear you, i haven't been updating religiously. haha not that i'm gonna promise i'll do so from now on, but i'll try. :P baby, being such a sweetheart accompanied me to school on a sunday afternoon for my extra lessons.
p.s. crap right?!?!?! sunday also have class!?!?! like what the hell!?!?
and when i was getting our butt there in time for my lecture, he was playing with the cammie, as you can see plainly. lol
when i ran through the pics in my cammie, the above pics were next to each other, haha it was hilarious lah! all the above was just some frivolous pics we took at his place considering there wasn't much on tv, wait, there probably was but we were trying out drinks at his place. =) which of cos explains the red face of mine. haha
