a "fancy" word attached to us since birth.

times are hard now, with prelims and exams coming up. so much to study, so little time which means lesser time for "ugly betty", then again, it's my motivation treat, so it might simply mean i'm gonna get more time with "Ugly Betty". ;)

Having this exam is much worst than i thought it would turn out. No, not the part that I'm not totally, a 100% confident but the part that I'd let my nerve get on to me. It's been 3 years since i sat for a major test.

Don't get me wrong, RP does have tests, just not major, now it's the 'O' Levels way all over again. I was so nervous this morning attempting my econs prelims, I had a sudden symptom, a weak knee. A crowd there was, near the grand hall when i reached the designated venue. I needed stability, held on to the corridor handle and had myself composed.

Yes, a butterfly in my tummy once again.

Campus Superstar Charity Event

It's been months since we've planned the project, with a few projects in hand to raise funds for the autism society we slaved at pushcarts, selling all sorts, buying all sorts ourselves, be it clothes or sweets.

this is another event to raise funds and my fellow Samaritans had invited the campus superstars to sing for a cause. with that, 13th feb was the fateful day, with helium balloons filling up the lecture theater, 300 to be exact, to create the atmosphere of a happening concert. ;)

I swear i would have wanted to bring each and every balloons home, then again, i'm sure the taxi uncle would have dumped me on the road side. =(

with the 2 people whom i've gotten to know so much more in the past few month, they make life in SIM so much more wonderful than it already is.

the event finally ended at 9.40pm which left very little time for clearing up before the clock hit 10. had catered food after that and finally got rested at 11+ which, in a few minutes time was gonna be valentine's day. =)

so i had myself prepared the the day to share the love among friends whom i've met in SIM with a little something. =)

First Outing of the Year

it's been a while since I've met up with the Princesses. call it cute, but people who seem to have read my blog knows we're one of a kind. that's what we are. though weeks after weeks have past due to my hectic schedule, i'm glad to be able to have met up with them. this time, we had our sight on a restaurant at raffle city's menotti though n we had a hell of a time to figure the fancy names they've got for their dishes. then again, it was goooood. =)

Next up, we had dessert! =) nothing is more fulfilling than Canele! Upcoming chill out place if you ask me. Chic and glam. ;)

And the pretties got me my present which i adore it to the core. ;) thanks again princesses!

Dinner and Dance 2008

Scandalicious was a successful event, so now, with Monotasia next in line, and with ample girlfriends to attend, we decided to show up without the bfs. not that i could bring sweetheart along anyway cos he was on plane to Auckland throughout my time at Carlton hotel.

On looking back that night, it was a fun night out, something I've never experience. Nope, my secondary school had only graduation tea, not a dinner, so no glamorous dresses, thick make-ups, fluttery eyelashes etc.

YY, Nat, Shann and I decided to cab down together, fetching each other in a cab. I was literally running out of the house when they told me they were around the corner of my place. Time management had obviously been an important factor, considering that there was many ticks to be ticked on the check list.

Shann , Nat and YY had their eyelashes fixed while i decided that my trusty mascara would not fail me, holding my lashes long and pretty through the night.

Though I didn't take the rest of the pics of YY's and Nat's, LOOK AT SHANN'S!!!!
