it's been a week filled with activities in school.
raising funds for the autistic led us to keeping ourselves busy by selling merchandises, teddy bears, accessories and mix and match candies at our school's pushcart. it was our duty again (shann and i) and this time we were slacking on the job considering there wasn't much traffic flow.
we were thinking out of the box to entertain ourselves when i finally whipped out my pretty fushia ipod n hit the play button! =))
there we were, sitting on the edge of the wall, back facing the atrium of school, singing with actions, "can't smile without you" by barry manilow. fun times till the security guard marched towards us and said "eh, girls, get down and sit properly, the whole school can see u singing and giggling you know". and so i turned round and noticed, NO ONE, absolutely no one was looking at us. =(( then again, he had the authority to ask us to behaviour ourselves...... not that we weren't in from the start, but still............
so anyway, we obviously couldn't enjoy ourselves. so we ended up being "zi high" with mix and match candies again.the guy standing behind me is our pushcart neighbour -_- who stole our candies before, without paying.

it's truly amazing how these many months have past and how I've gotten to know so many wonderful people. i wouldn't trade them at any cost, no, i wouldn't.
if i was to give a rating, i would rate 10/10 for my birthday's outcome. I felt especially special with the pre-birthday, birthday and post-birthday celebrations. =)
yes, i'm 23 this year. i wasn't overwhelmingly upset cos i didn't even have time to frown over it! was so busy with this and that, meet ups, getting ready for DnD, spending quality time with sweetheart cos he's gonna go auckland. now that all have come to an end, i'm here to blog after the hiatus.
at pushcart, we're donating time off for charity! feeding everyone the cake they're gotten for me. =) cheryl on the left, zhenni on the right and there's jamie a garden in a bouquet. clockwise: chocolates from Kong Da, Bracelet from Zhenni, Shann and Peiling and oreo cupcakes! on the day itself, i spent a delightful time with dearest. cine for movie - atonement (DON'T WATCH!) Macaron along Roberson Quay - dinner Canele - Dessert City Space - Chill out (there, i was dedicated with a song by the live duet from sweetest.)

The pic below was at a 2008 New Year Party in Hua Hin, somewhere off Bkk , abt 3 hours drive, but we got back from Hua Hin to Bkk in 1h 45 mins cos we were speeding at 140km/h! 1st Jan 2008 Lunch in town with Ich oh! and I found a stall called Beau! Haha Beau was so proud, for some reason. It sells toddlers products. CUTE! Our very last meal in thai, the night before i came back Sg. =) Black Canyon, our fav.

first in line was joyce, a friend way back from pri sch. someone whom i've kept in touch all these years. never changed a bit, still the same old her. =)
as we've met up 2 times in a row, once in town, after which headed to acid bar for a drink which didn't materialize, but all is fine as we had a gd catching up after a week later. =) well, if there's a pic that i found back when we were in haig girls', i'll post it here. she's like, a total photo copy of her adolescent time lah! SERIOUSLY!
the next day was the day i was on a jet plane headin' to the kingdom to meet up with sweetheart of mine. =) armed with the xmas present for him of cos!

it's taken in a club called Escudo, one of the hippiest club in town there. Cash cow i tell u. our clique spent like 100,000 baht ($500) on a single night! the left side of the pic are some graffiti in the ladies' which i decided to take. no surprises on the right side of the pic, all the guys (in the following pics to come) are brook's friends since kindergarden. best friends they are, to him.

though clubbing hasn't been my kinda thing, it was fun to have experience such, it was especially fun with brook around to look out for me. =)
