not much to update recently cos nothing much really happened in my life. but either way, i uploaded some pics i took while i was in Royal Copenhagen again.
A definitely deserved pampering time cos i had 2 lessons on that day! Totally shagged.
Yup and the above that we've ordered is something recommended by the cafe themselves, so no surprises there, it was superb! in fact, the pastry melt in our mouths! oh and this? -_- i accidentally parked at the wheelchair packing lot. in my defense! I was almost late for school plus another car who parked there blocked the icon on the ground. so yup, when i was going back from school, i saw an A4 size paper, my heart sank immediately thinking that I've gotten a fine. which luckily i didn't! =))
i was totally embarrassed when the lady who placed the "warning" paper there cos i didn't know what to say! i mean i certainly didn't do it on purpose but at the same time, which idiot could have not looked out for the humongous icon. well apparantly i did, which makes me a silly silly person huh? -_-
There are times when we know when we want supper and it was on a Monday night that happened again. We were brainstorming whether we should head out to east coast park for a minute meal but ended up Siglap since it was much nearer.
So after walking up and down the road full of restaurants, be it deserts or main course, we ended up choosing Hong Kong Cafe cos they have main and deserts. =)
The first person i spotted there was Princess Linda! haha and i saw her munching down her favorite mango ice. i should have known cos before i know it, i was asking what was that! lol anyway it was great to have bumped into her and her bf cos we chatted up for a little while. =)
so anyway, cos we were all that hungry after all, we ended up getting few stuffs, but brook and i did a great deal of catching up. =)
The next day, cos i was craving for jap curry, sweetheart took me down to moonriver ! Splendid choice of place if you ask me cos their curry? Simply the best!
yup and headed down to orchard after this, typical us actually cos there's nothing much to do in Singapore. yippie! and i got something new! hehe
till then peeps! smile smile! the weekends are just a few days away!

as much as we want it to be secrets-free, in reality, there isn't. afraid you bring down all the walls in you, but left being broken when the person leave. afraid they know too many of your weak points, that brings you to your knees.
hello people of the world, so how did you spend your weekend?
well as many of you know that i've never really clubbed before (at least not in sg), i am officially no longer a virgin to clubbing! haha though i wouldn't say it was clubbing per say cos we went in at 9 on the dot. yup, as expected, the handful of people were as pathetic as we were.
I went along with qing qing and yingyan by the way. though i would have wanted to stay longer, well i couldn't lol, cos soccer's more important. lol
so with that, i'll leave you with the pics to do the talking. =))
after dinner we strolled up and down the river, i guess what caught our attention the most was the exhilarating reverse bungy ride. it reminded me of experiencing it abt 2-3 years ago. i wasn't particularly frightened when i took the ride but when i was watching from afar, 3 other girls taking the ride, i simply screamed a little for them. -_- i suppose coward-y comes with age.
anyway we headed for MOS after loads of pics were taken outdoor.

hey people who are reading my blog! first of all, i wanna just add in some pointers for the highlights of the few days.
i've been trying to keep myself busy for the past few days and well, i guess you can say that i did because i ended up watching 2 movies in a day. 2 food movies to be more precise.
i caught "Waitress" and "No Reservations" and they're both really good actually. yes yes, i hear you. it's all chick flick, but it's really great to watch it with someone whom you really adore and when the lovey dovey part falls in, your heart kinda itch for that little hug too. =)) and yup, that's what bfs are for. but then again, girlfriends are there for you to hear all the "ahhhhh, he's so cute" part, so yup, depending on which category you fall under, it's always good to know that someone's there for you. that is to hug or to go gaga. ;)
if anyone is going for either one of the movies, then i would suggest "No Reservations". it's more romantic in a sense cos compared to "Waitress" the main character is actually cheating on her husband and well, didn't get together with the guy she fancied in the end. so haha yup, since i've told you "almost" the entire story, you might as well watch "No Reservations" =P
oh and because the guy she fancied is married too, i ended up smacking brook's head warning him not to have an affair if i were to marry him. yup, if. LOL =P
so anyway i've uploaded the trailer, see it for yourself, but NO RESERVATIONS is better, seriously. =P

oh and 1 more thing. cos I've checked out princess linda and jane's blog, I stole a pic from each of them and i wanna post it here, cos well, it's exactly a year (within this month) since we've ate fondue together, with weird expressions. =P
oh but before having fondue i drove them there to esplanade, so haha since it's the first time we all took pic in a car again, well, here's the pic.

Sunday was not sunny, so -_- I brought my sunglasses out for no reason. arg. why is it always that when i bring it out, the sky would turn against me.
so anyway, nothin' much really happened, just the fact that sweetheart and i got ourselves a sumptuous feast at Tony Roma's.
I visted Suntec for the whole day actually cos i went there to shop with sweetheart then with my parents, and then back there again for dinner. phew! I doubt i'll step inside there for the next couple of months to come.

With Royal Copenhagen in town, sweetheart and I decided to try out the "well- known que" altogether and thought that tea there was just simply fabulous!
Though I wouldn't rate too high for the service (but then again it was really crowded at the time), but the scone is superb!
and not to mention the Darjeeling tea as well!
And for dinner, you might wonder, we, in as brook's siblings and ourselves headed down to none other then
yup u guessed it (or not), no signboard, AGAIN. lol=))
The week past by so fast that I hardly even notice it's the weekends. And yes, this week is terribly interesting with so much that happened in school. Though I wouldn't go into details but yup, in short, I guess I'll be even more busy with school life, with CCA that I'm joining and all. =))
and of cos! I've met the princesses just last night at raffles city! =)) there's always so much to talk about even though we've went through the topics over and over again. =))
And I realized that I've definitely got to know the princesses much better after every meet up. Anyway, we headed down to a restaurant at the basement of raffles to get dinner. With creativity in the house, we had jars as our "glass" and the drink is surprisingly tasty I would say the downside of the restaurant is the limited choices they have on the menu, so yup, as you can see, there's only 2 dishes i took pic of. The one of the left is princess linda's (spring chicken) and on the right is ours, princess tricia, jane and mine's. (fish and chips)
After dinner and loads of laughing and sharing of our little every day life, we headed down to Esplanade for a doze of fondue that we promised each other that we'll have it back in Shanghai days.

And so after finally making up our minds which restaurant we wanted, we chose Max Brenner cos it's darn famous for it's chocolate!
And cos we were uber high with happiness we've gotten from the chocolates, we took loads of pics on princess linda's cammie and also took the same actions we did when eating yogurt fondue back in Xin Tian Di! =))

September 11, hmm a day which the terrorist chose to blow up the twin tower is actually Best birthday. Although I didn't really see much of brotherly love existing, they constantly bully one another. So well, i suppose that's the way they choose to show their affection for one another.
It's funny how sweetheart recalled when they were young and playful. They, both brothers would get canning from their parents, and Brook related to me that they would quickly wear their jeans when they were being yelled at so that when they get canned, it wouldn't hurt as much.
-_- so yup, I suppose they were very mischievous. and on a random note, sweetheart and I went to eat Aston along Katong. If you ever pass by there, just look out for the super duper long que and you can spot it. Aston's location.
Nothing much happened lately except that sweetheart have to be on his business case for 30 hours! -_- so he was particularly in school till the wee hours of the morning. Poor him! -_- anyway it seems he's the one who pulls me into shops instead lately.
Having splurged on a new shoe and so much more on other stuffs, it does seem like he's treating himself after working so hard!
but, none for me. =(
yup and cos he's right beside me i demanded to know why, LOL afterall i was the one who was worried for him and stayed up till he got home. =P
but then again, becos i fell sick and am suffering from cold and cough, he looked after me and demanded that I eat healthily. But the funny thing is when I said "please, just one" to a cookie or even when i bought durian, with a pleading eye, he'll give in. =P LOL
he's such a softie, another reason why i heart him.

after a long time waiting, we're finally eating popeye!!! it's located at airport T1 actually and we've been meaning to go and eat ever since 3 months ago. although it's crazy to go airport just to eat popeye, well to my defense I didn't go there before PLUS there's only 1 outlet.
it all started when they were all praising it being super great and the chicken is tender and all, -_- so I couldn't resist but ask them for an outing on the last work week at DBS.
so first up! I met up with mak qing qing at my school cos she wanted to register to study in my school! =)) but i doubt i'll see her often cos the timing is way too different! anyway i got to meet a friend of hers which coincidentally knew the way to town, cos ya, i'm quite blur on the road.
so we ended up at cineleisure to watch Evan Almighty! on the couple seats! =)) lol apparently qing qing said it's more spacious but i think she secretly wants to sit "nearer" to me. =P
i would rate it 4.5 out of 5 "hahas" cos it's really hilarious!!! yes I would totally recommend anyone to watch it!
next up, we went to long john to meet up with qing qing's friend and it was there that we got settled down to write the birthday card for nani's daughter. =)) we were really excited when we buy the presents because we were 101% sure that she'll definitely adore the gifts we had chosen for her.
oh and it was stationaries that we've gotten, in the form of all the Disney princesses. =))
so with nothing much to do before we got e pen from qing qing's friend, we whipped out the cam and took loads of pics. =P
and these are some frivolous gifts we bought for ourselves! =)) and with $30 and above of spending, there's a free necklace!!! and then.... *drum roll*
oh and because nani and mama was way late, we ended up taking pics again. =P and yep, sadly we had to stare at the empty table for so long while each and every one else had their share on yummy chicken. =((
BUT right after mama came! LOL we joined in the que!!! =P and finally got our well deserved meal! *slurps* and presenting to u! Norima a.k.a. MAMA! =))
and after a long while later nani finally appeared with her princess! haha i took this pic because mama have to go back into the que to get for her hubby dinner. lol 2 long ques in a day, man that must be tiring!

hehe and the pic above, haha we're acting as if we're going through the customs next. lol sky trained to T1 for a doze of Coffee Beanie!and that was where we surprised Anggu that we've gotten her birthday pressies! =)) if anyone else was present other than us, i swear u'll truely witness a 'lit up' face by a child. it's truly amazing how easy you can please children. and and little cute cute stuffs below are what i've gotten for mama, nani , peifang and qing qing from bkk. lol i was broke already the time i bought so lol nothing special, just some cute stuffs to add to their collection. so to the end of our meeting we simply slacked at Coffee Bean , enjoying each other company till I started yawning which marked the end of the day. till then peeps! have a good week ahead!
