Movies
If you're wondering whether I've been keeping myself savvy with movies, well i've been. thank you for wondering ;)anyway, i've recently caught vantage point, juno and sky of love.
vantage point being the most recent.
I'm pretty impressed with how different the director have approach to film the whole movie. I must add that people who intend to watch this should forget about the norm and look at it in a whole new light. Definitely worth the money, you get to watch the show 5 times in a row. ;)
the movie plot is as follows:
Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) and Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox) are Secret Service agents assigned to protect President Ashton (William Hurt) at a landmark summit on the global war on terror. When President Ashton is shot moments after his arrival in Spain, chaos ensues. In the crowd is Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker), an American tourist video taping the event to show his kids. There is also Rex (Sigourney Weaver) an American TV news producer who is reporting on the conference. We follow each person's perspective of the same 15 minutes before and immediately after the shooting to get to the terrifying truth behind the assassination attempt.

oh and youtube, of course.
Sky of Love was caught before vantage point,
Movie Plot:
Based on a cell-phone novel that moved 11 million people to tears, "Sky of Love" is a story about a regular girl's three stormy years in high school. While her friends are absorbed about their boyfriends, Mika is clueless about falling in love. She begins receiving phone calls from a boy she doesn't know and is gradually drawn to him. She finally meets him but their happy days soon pass as trouble is brewing on the horizon.
Right, I can't find the trailer with english subtitles but it's pretty touching, i didn't expect the ending to be how it ended. I don't really read synopsis for movies, it's the task of sweetheart, no wonder he's never really surprised after watching a movie, he'll just ask me how is it. Well, I like to watch and find out for myself but brook likes to know what he's watching. Prolly something that differentiates us.
Anyhow, though it seemed to be puppy love to me, I would still recommend this movie to whoever that's willing to catch a romantic genre.
Lastly, Juno.
Not really my type of movie, more of darling's. But well, it's funny to a certain extend, though I don't really catch the jokes at some point of time, cos, i didn't think it was funny, but well, yah, I suppose one have to keep your ethical mindset away and just go with the flow of the movie. I like the vocab, shitnanegan. ;)
Movie Plot:
Penned by Diablo Cody, the film's story revolves around Juno, a unique 16-year-old girl. When faced with an unplanned pregnancy, she makes brave call of keeping the baby and finding the "perfect" adoptive parents. In the course of facing some tough decisions, she flirts with adulthood and ultimately comes into her own as a witty and independent teenager.
