Verdict for Canele at Paragon
after a terribly long lesson by this sexist lecturer of mine, i finally got out of school. some times I believe it's a perfect plan to end my lesson week earlier by choosing an early class so i'll have my weekend a tad bit earlier than my peers. but it seems my lecturer seem to be pushing back the time so much so that i don't really think there's much difference anymore.so anyway, I cabbed down, yes, (feeling guilty already), with my classmate to orchard to meet up with sweetheart for lunchie and then tea (within 30 mins interval). although I did invite my friend to join us, she seem to be too shy about it. sigh. in fact, all my friends are shy (and afraid to be light bulb) by joining us, but there doesn't seem to have any problems on his friends to simly join us. in fact, some of them just simply voluntarily joined in. lol
talk about thick skin. but yup, i do like the idea of sweetheart mingling with my friends as well but too bad, there seem to be little chances of that happening to majority for my friends. yup, so anyhow, we met up at ichiban sushi again and ordered loads that we almost couldn't finish. and then strolled lazily down to paragon for Canele. The cake shop infront of Starbucks.
Their cakes all look so fairy tale like that my pathetic cupcakes that I made before are simply galaxies away from them. =((
So anyway we ordered strawberry tart cos we didn't want something too creamy, and then a pot of berry tea. it was surprisingly good and not to mention super crowded too!
I would rate the cake 4.3 out of 5 sugars!
Yum yum!
Canele! Here I come ... ... soon!
